The context:
StubHub wanted to relaunch globally and shift from being a transactional ticketing company to experience brand.
We realized that in order to succeed they would not only have to compete with other ticketing sites, but they'd have to combat Netflix, the ease of food delivery apps and the general inertia of staying in. This gave us a new way to think about not only the communications, but the entire business. In 54 global markets, we relaunched StubHub with the Your Ticket Out platform, celebrating the excitement you could only can feel by making the choice to get out.
The truth: StubHub is not competing with other ticket providers. StubHub is competing with people’s couches.
The POV: Make an enemy out of staying in.
